Easter Sunday is just a few weeks away and we can get caught up in the events that are happening around us. This Easter I challenge you to be reminded of who our Lord is. Psalm 24 is a good reminder of the God that we serve.
The psalmist begins by telling us that the earth is the Lords and He established it. This is a wonderful reminder about who our God is; He is the Creator of all. How amazing it is to know that the Creator of All would be gracious enough to create us. Psalm 24 continues with the question, “Who is this King of Glory?” It would be easy to give the Sunday school answer Jesus, but, who is He really? Beginning in verse 8, the psalmist gives us a glimpse into who He is. “Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, The Lord mighty in battle. Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory”.
Calling God the “King of Glory” means He is the most awesome, most powerful king and should be taken seriously and trusted at His word. He is not only the creator, but He is the Lord of Hosts, which means, He is God of the armies of heaven. His strength is beyond measure. He is mighty, which in Hebrew means: champion, great, and mighty One. He is therefore a champion in battle always, and we can be assured of where our trust should be and why. There is therefore no reason to doubt our faith because, “HE IS THE KING OF GLORY”.
On this Easter, let us remember who we serve and honor, and out of gratitude we unite together because He is worthy to be praised and honored.
1st Peter 1:3 (NKJV)

And established it upon the waters.

The Lord strong and mighty,
The Lord mighty in battle.
10 Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
He isthe King of glory. Selah

hi Just want to say…. I Know the King of Glory VERY well… He IS The God of our Salvation… and he has known who he is in Christ for a little over two years.. I know he has fullfilled over 500 God of Salvation scriptures and over 13 King of Glory scriptures.. I’d love to tell more about this person to anyone interested.. Hit me up. I also know who the true biblical false prophet are and the beast are and all of their doings which have taken place during the very well kept under wraps battle of Armageddon which is my Home town translated from Hebrew to Ogden, Ut.
